Meet Virginia

Well, Kater has gone off and left us for 8 days! She headed out to Virginia with Mimi and Pop to spend some time with her Auntie Chris and Uncle Mike in what they call "Hooterville". hehe
I have gotten a few words over the phone when there are no grapes or yogurts around because then she wants nothing to do with the phone. Here are a few pics of her adventure and look out for more to come. She went out boating today so keep checking back for more pics. :)

Nicole's new digs

We were invited out to a little outing at the Harmon's last night. Kate and Ashton had fun romping around in her playroom. Chris was the grill master and we were able to celebrate Somer's engagement. I look forward to having them out to the house once it is finished.

Busy Kate

Well, we have been busy. There have been a lot of people come to visit us. We have had fun on the Choo Choo, a fun girly day at Libby Lu and on the trampoline at the gymnastics place. Hope you like the pics.

Hangin' Out Again

Kate and Ashton had a heck of a time the other night. We thought Nicole was being a good babysitter upstairs while her mom and I chatted. Soon we found out she was polishing her toes while the girls got crazy with lipstick. hehe :)
They actually got a little sneaky and found the make-up. I hope they stay friends forever.

Hangin' out

Just a few pics of Kater. We went to Barton Springs with some friends this weekend. It was very cold but so fun. Kate loved it and munched on some Veggie Booty afterwards.
Our friend Carrie invited us over yesterday to see their new house and have Kate, Gracie and Che' play.
We are all good. Miss you.

Kate's Birthday present from Dad

Dave had ordered this darn tricycle months ago and it came yesterday! How cool is that? It showed up on her actual birthday. We went out to eat a bite and came back so we could put it together. She loves it and is just short of being able to pedal.

Blue Hole

Blue Hole was the destination for Saturday. It is about an hour drive south of us in Wimberley, TX. It is a spring-fed creek and it is awesome! Did I mention it is cold as crap? You feel like you are trying to be Huck Finn. We all got to jump from the rope swing and watch these kids climb these crazy high trees to jump from. I was tempted but never quite made the plunge. All in all we had fun and plan to go back.

Summer Kate

Kate and I have been hanging at the pool and trying out her new suit. Thanks again to Nicole and Ashton. Dave also got her the cutest shades which she insists on wearing every time we go out. Here are just a few pics from today. We met up with a mom's group for some fun with other kiddos.

2nd Birthday!!

We celebrated the big birthday this weekend in Clyde. Kate did a complete nose dive in to her cupcake. No hands required. It was great to see everyone and we had a wonderful time.

Swimsuit Issue

I love Austin!! I swear, there are so many things to do here with Kate. Today we went to a little spray park over by us. It was so neat and she loved it as you can see. There are over a dozen water spouts which shoot out at random times. I plan to keep going back all summer.
Poor thing, her large belly kept pulling down her suit. hehe
