Mimi's Birthday

Mimi and Pop came in for the big birthday. We went out for a Mexican fiesta as you can see. James and Pat let Kate investigate their back yard. There was so much for her to see. She was trying to sneak up on the Guineafowl.
Also, John came in from Houston to hang with us and it was nice to see him again. Kate really warmed up to everyone even though it had been a few months since she had seen everyone.

Surprise! It's Granny and Grandpa

Well, we were sitting around in our robes on Monday when we got a big surprise from my Ma and Dad. They drove up from Lubbock to visit us. I had not idea and was so excited since they had not been down since October. We had a blast and enjoyed the patio, grill and a few beers.
Here are a few pics. I have to add that with them came even more spoiling for Kate.

Austin Children's Museum

So, we met up with a few cuties at the Austin Children"s Museum yesterday. All I have to say is that place is LOUD! My gosh! Kate enjoyed the train, vibration drum and even did a little gig for the "Kiddie Austin City Limits". It was the neatest thing I have seen. They were able to get onstage with their own light show. There were little monitors there showing them as if they were on real stage. So cute. I would have gotten video if my camera battery would not have crashed.

Fort Baker

Well, we have been busy lately. Dave and Kate built a fort while I napped on Sunday. I have to have my naps you know! We were invited to a grill out on Saturday at Gale's. Kate had a blast with her son, Che. They were busy rolling rocks down the slide.

Che is a super sweet kid and we got a cute shot of them at the library checking out the snakes. Kate was just a hair shorter than Che and Gracie.

Hope all is well with everyone. We are off to a wedding this weekend so there will be a ton of pics coming.
